This approach ensures that our resources are devoted to serious inquiries, helping to keep overall costs down for everyone. Think about it—without this fee, the cost of numerous non-committal site visits could inflate prices, unfairly burdening those who are ready to invest in solar energy.

Here’s How It Works:

The On-Site Consultation Fee acts as a down payment towards your installation. If you decide to proceed with us, this fee is deducted from the total price of your system. So in a sense, IT IS FREE

Why a Fee? Our experience shows that clients who are ready to make the down payment for the consultation are the ones who genuinely intend to install solar panels. This method prevents unnecessary expenses from being incorporated into our pricing, ensuring that you do not pay for the exploratory visits of others.

Choosing this options secures your installation position on our calendar AND includes a FREE On-Site Consultation as well as Engineering and Plan Finalization while on site. This Down Payment comes off of the total cost of your finalized system AND is fully refundable if we determine that solar is not able to be installed on your home or facilities.

This option is for those who are ready to have solar panels installed on their home or facilities.

Remember if you want the most economical system, you DO NOT want to produce more than you use in a month's time. Your system will be set up with a process called "Net Metering". This means your system will store excess energy on the grid, and then allow you to use it when you need it (like at night). At the end of your Billing Cycle, the utility company will take what you used from them, subtract off what you sent back to them, and bill you the difference. If you produce MORE than what you use in One Billing Cycle's time, your utility company will credit you the difference, but only at 2.9 cents/kWh vs. you having to pay about 12 cents/kWh. This is why we recommend sizing your system for "Fastest System Payoff Time" 

Complete Elimination of your utility bill is a very difficult thing to acheive without falling into an "over-production" situation as described above unless your usage curve perfectly matches the solar production curve. In many cases eliminating your utility bill completely involves over producing for 6-9 months of the year to fully cover the others, and because of this, there ends up being electricity that you paid for equipment to produce, that is given away to the utility company.
